Matteo has only played once for the national team up till now. It was on August 21st, Italy-Slovenia. Unfortunately they lost that game, with 0-1... Matteo played in the first half, he got switched after that.
Stuff they said about him in the gazzetta : "Brighi played great, he showed that he has courage, personality and character".
I'm sure we all hope to see him in the national team again, very soon !
