This match was certainly eventful with seven goals and endless twists and turns for both sides.
Brescia took a surprise lead through former Parma midfielder Stephan Appiah's powerful left-foot drive from the edge of the box.
However, it took just 60 seconds for the scores to be levelled. Goalkeeper Micillo spilled a Hidetoshi Nakata free kick and defender Matteo Ferrari pounced on the loose ball to draw level.
Parma's defending left a lot to be desired and Brescia restored their lead when an unmarked Roberto Baggio was allowed to nod home Antony Seric's cross.
It was end to end stuff as two minutes later Adrian Mutu netted another equaliser. Ex-Brescia winger Emanuele Filippini's fine run was parried by Micillo, but he could do nothing on Mutu's follow-up.
The game turned around completely at the dawn of the second half. Mutu carried on Nakata's cross and former Brescia striker Emiliano Bonazzoli popped up to nod in from close range.
It still wasn't over as Igli Tare was brought down by Paolo Cannavaro and Roby Baggio stepped up to convert the resulting penalty and draw Brescia level.
The crowd was certainly kept entertained and substitute Alberto Gilardino finally handed Parma the points following some fine build-up play from Mutu.
