Bottom club Venezia held leaders Inter last week and their morale has undoubtedly improved. In fact it was the Lagunari who took the lead when Pippo Maniero was left unmarked to meet Fabian Valtolina's precise centre.
The Rossoblu increased the pressure in search of an equaliser and just before the break Maniero turned defender with a goalline clearance on Lamberto Zauli.

Substitute Claudio Bellucci snatched the equaliser just four minutes after stepping onto the field when he nodded in Massimo Tarantino's corner kick. However, it was Venezia who began to take control of the match. Vannucchi was a constant danger on the flank but the final ball in proved ineffective.
